2025年2月6日，Hale Prep School的学生们学习了在中文中用来描述颜色的词汇。我们主要学习了：粉红色、紫色、绿色、蓝色、橙色、黄色、红色、黑色、白色、棕色。老师在向学生介绍了新词汇之后，还通过做游戏的方式加强学生们对重点词汇的记忆。在老师的帮助下，学生们记住了大部分重点词汇的意义，并且能够进行中英互译，于是老师通过趣味学案中的涂色任务来检验学生们的学习成果。根据中文与拼音的提示，学生们将学案中的雨伞涂上了正确的颜色。除了认读以外，写字同样也是学习中文的重中之重。本节课我们继续推进学生的写字练习，并布置了3-4个新汉字的学习作业。老师也对按时完成的学生给予了奖励。
On February 6, 2025, students at Hale Prep School learned vocabulary related to colors in Chinese. The key colors they focused on were pink, purple, green, blue, orange, yellow, red, black, white, and brown. After introducing the new vocabulary, the teacher reinforced the students' memory of these key words through interactive games. With the teacher's guidance, the students were able to remember most of the key vocabulary and perform Chinese-English translations. To assess their learning, the teacher gave them a fun coloring activity, where they colored an umbrella based on Chinese characters and pinyin clues. In addition to recognizing and understanding characters, writing is also a crucial part of learning Chinese. In this lesson, the students continued to practice writing characters and were assigned homework to learn 3-4 new Chinese characters. The teacher rewarded students who completed their assignments on time.
