1. Introduction（介绍）

The Wuhan-Shangri-La Biodiversity Summer Study Tour of Central China Normal University (CCNU) was designed to display China's excellent traditional culture, expand the people-to-people exchanges and promote the scientific and technological exchanges between China and foreign countries, especially among the young generation. This programme enables international students to gain a deeper understanding of China’s unique natural landscape and rich ecosystems, comprehensively expand their knowledge of natural sciences, deeply understand the importance of biodiversity to the global ecology and stimulate the desire for exploration of natural sciences by exploring the wetland ecology of Wuhan, alpine vegetation of Shangri-La and the phenomenon of urban bio-adaptation to the mysteries of primitive forests. With the help of abundant field trips, practical operations and virtual simulation experiments, it can effectively cultivate young people's observation ability, hands-on ability and teamwork ability, and improve their comprehensive quality in multiple dimensions. At the same time, this event also enables foreign students to experience the cultural charm and development of central and southwestern China, the fusion of history and culture in Wuhan, and the characteristics of Tibetan culture in Shangri-La.

华中师范大学“武汉-香格里拉生物多样性暑期研学之旅”旨在展示中国优秀的传统文化，深化中外人民之间的交流，特别是促进青年一代之间的科技与人文互动。本项目旨在帮助国际学生深入了解中国独特的自然风貌与丰富的生态系统，全面拓展其自然科学知识，深刻认识生物多样性对全球生态系统的重要意义，并通过探索武汉湿地生态、香格里拉高山植被，以及城市生物适应现象与原始森林之谜，激发他们对自然科学的探索欲望。

通过丰富的实地考察、动手实践与虚拟仿真实验，项目能够有效培养青年人的观察力、动手能力与团队协作能力，从多个维度提升其综合素质。同时，此次活动也使外国学生能够亲身感受中国中部与西南地区的文化魅力与发展现状，体验武汉历史与文化的交融，以及香格里拉藏族文化的独特风情。
