🌟 Class Highlights
Today's class was centered around the upcoming Halloween, making it both fun and relatable for the children. We focused on the “Emotion Monsters” those little emotional creatures that hide around us. The main goal of the class was to help children recognize these emotion monsters, learn to interact with them positively, and accurately express their feelings in Chinese.
During the activity segment, children actively participated through interactive games: they drew their chosen emotion monsters on paper and gave each monster a “name,” reflecting their understanding and imagination of different emotions. Afterwards, through group collaboration, the children practiced using complete Chinese sentences to describe and express these emotions. The entire process not only strengthened their language skills but also enhanced their emotional awareness and management, making the class both fun and educational.
🌱 Children’s Gains
✅ Able to use vocabulary learned in class to form complete expressions, such as: “你怎么了?” (“What’s wrong?”) and “我觉得很开心。” (“I feel very happy.”)
✅ Gradually mastering Chinese sentence structure through sentence-making and interactive practice, with noticeable improvement in grammar awareness.
✅ Courageous in sharing their thoughts, able to describe words on cards or express their own emotions using language.
✅ Writing is neater and more standardized, pronunciation and intonation are more accurate, and both confidence and language expression have improved.
