课程目标 Course Objectives
为了让中国和英国两地学童促进双语学习，苏州实验小学与英国苗苗语文共同主办儿童国际绘本课，用双语进行教学，让孩子们能够在线上共同学习，互相促进。该课程可提高中国孩子的英文水平，增加英国孩子的中文水平，让身在两个不同国家的孩子能在线上做到无障碍通道，真正实现双语教学，并为孩子们创造结实国际朋友的机会，通过课程链接国际友谊。
This event aims to enhance bilingual learning for children in both China and the UK. Jointly organised by Suzhou Experimental Primary School and MM Chinese Club, the programme uses bilingual instruction through international picture books. The course is designed to help Chinese students improve their English skills and British students develop their Chinese proficiency. Through online interaction, children from two different countries can overcome language barriers, engage in immersive bilingual learning, and build international friendships.

英国时间：上午10:00-11:00
中国时间：下午6:00-7:00（冬令时）/下午5:00-6:00（夏令时）
UK Time:10:00 am – 11:00 am
China Time: 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm (winter time) / 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm (summer time)
参与方法 Participation
每期计划挑选8名学生共同参与，
中国6名，英国2名，年龄 8-12岁。
名额有限，有意参加的同学们请积极向老师报名！
Each session will have 8 student participants:
6 students from China and 2 students from the UK
Age range: 8 to 12 years old
Spaces are limited! If you're interested, please register with your teacher as soon as possible.

“春雨惊春清谷天，夏满芒夏暑相连，秋处露秋寒霜降，冬雪雪冬小大寒。”二十四节气，是中国古人留给我们的时间密码。我们的第三期双语绘本阅读课程，将带领中国与英国的小学生们一起走进节气的世界，聆听一年四季的自然故事，感受中英文交织的阅读之美。在绘本中感知节令变化，认识节气背后的文化智慧。
"Spring rain awakens the season, followed by Clear and Grain Rain; summer begins with Grain Full and Grain in Ear, leading into the heat; autumn brings End of Heat, White Dew, and Frost's Descent; winter arrives with Light Snow, Heavy Snow, and finally, Major and Minor Cold."
The 24 solar terms are an ancient Chinese calendar system — a poetic code left by our ancestors to mark time through nature. In the third instalment of our bilingual picture book reading series, primary school students from China and the UK will journey together into the world of the solar terms. Through seasonal stories and beautifully illustrated books, they will discover the rhythm of nature and the cultural wisdom hidden within — all through the lens of both Chinese and English.
