课程目标 Course Objectives
为了让中国和英国两地学童促进双语学习，苏州实验小学与英国苗苗语文共同主办儿童国际绘本课，用双语进行教学，让孩子们能够在线上共同学习，互相促进。该课程可提高中国孩子的英文水平，增加英国孩子的中文水平，让身在两个不同国家的孩子能在线上做到无障碍通道，真正实现双语教学，并为孩子们创造结实国际朋友的机会，通过课程链接国际友谊。
This event aims to enhance bilingual learning for children in both China and the UK. Jointly organised by Suzhou Experimental Primary School and MM Chinese Club, the programme uses bilingual instruction through international picture books. The course is designed to help Chinese students improve their English skills and British students develop their Chinese proficiency. Through online interaction, children from two different countries can overcome language barriers, engage in immersive bilingual learning, and build international friendships.

英国时间：上午10:00-11:00
中国时间：下午6:00-7:00（冬令时）/下午5:00-6:00（夏令时）
UK Time: 10:00 am – 11:00 am
China Time: 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm (winter time) / 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm (summer time)
参与方法 Participation
每期计划挑选8名学生共同参与，
中国6名，英国2名，年龄 8-12岁。
名额有限，有意参加的同学们请积极向老师报名！
Each session will have 8 student participants:
6 students from China and 2 students from the UK
Age range: 8 to 12 years old
Spaces are limited! If you're interested, please register with your teacher as soon as possible.

趁着中国新年的氛围尚在，我们的第二期绘本将为大家带来《十二生肖的故事(The story of the Chinese zodiac)》，学生们可以在活动过程中相互学习彼此的英语与中文能力，并对中国的传统生肖文化产生更深刻的了解。
With the festive spirit of the Chinese New Year still in the air, the second session will feature “The Story of the Chinese Zodiac”. Through this activity, students will not only enhance their language skills but also gain a deeper understanding of Chinese zodiac culture.
